Women of Northeast Florida Take Note! Here is your opportunity to access your inner Dr. Ruth, America’s most famous sex therapist. She was a Holocaust survivor who helped generations of Americans navigate the perilous shoals of human sexuality with wisdom and humor.
Auditions for “Becoming Dr. Ruth” by Mark St. Germain, will be at AMP at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 12th. The show will be performed January 12, 13, & 14, 2024. This is a brilliant, loving and humorous 1-woman show that explores the life of 69 year-old Dr. Ruth K. Westheimer, better known as the TV and radio personality, “Dr. Ruth.” The show will be directed by AMP veteran, Ron Kurtz.
There will be monologues from the script available for actors to read. In addition, if you have a 1 to 2 minute monologue you wish to present, you will be given the opportunity to do so.
