Auditions will be held for ELVIS: A Musical Revolution on Tuesday, May 2, at 6:00 pm.
Show dates are September 14-30, 2023.
This official bio-musical takes a closer look at the rock star and cultural icon, and explores pivotal moments in his life through the perspective of those who knew him best. The sho spans his life from his impoverished childhood in Tupelo, Mississippi to his triumphant 1968 “Comeback Special” and ascent to becoming “The King.” The production features over 40 iconic songs including Hound Dog, That’s All Right, Heartbreak Hotel, Jailhouse Rock, Are You Lonesome Tonight, and many more!
Roles include:
3 Elvis Impersonators – various ages and physical types.
Elvis Presley age 18-20-something
Comeback Special Elvis – may cast 20-30 Elvis for later role
Young Elvis – age 10 (or should appear so)
Gladys Presley – age 33-46 – Strong Southern woman.
Sam Phillips – Male 21-35 – Elvis’ first producer. Outspoken, tough, but sensitive
Colonel Tom Parker – 46-60 Elvis’ Unscrupulous manager .Big presence, con man
Scotty Moore – 22-35 Elvis’ first lead guitarist. straight-comedic
Bill Black – 18-31 Elvis’ first bass player – a real goofball
Ensemble 5 F, 4 M many dancing and singing roles, many solos in a variety of roles
