Something Rotten! Jr. is a hilarious musical comedy set in the Renaissance, where two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom, struggle to write a hit play in the shadow of Shakespeare’s fame. Desperate for success, they consult a soothsayer who predicts that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting simultaneously. This leads them to create the world’s first musical, filled with bold and comedic elements as they navigate their rivalry with Shakespeare and their own ambitions.
